FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SPRING LAKE, Mich. — October, 2006 — MarketNet Services, LLC, recently announced the hiring of Joyce DenBlyker as business analyst and Craig Carrier as .Net application developer as well as the promotion of Mike Earley from customer service representative to marketing analyst. Throughout 2006, MarketNet has continued to grow their client base while developing new applications for current clients. All existing applications are in the process of being upgraded from Microsoft .asp to .net as part of a strategic effort to better position MarketNet in the burgeoning “Software as a Service” (SAAS) market.
Joyce brings over 15 years of business analysis and IT consulting experience to MarketNet. From custom sales and marketing solutions to complex IT projects, Joyce has facilitated communication between customers and developers to design custom applications. Her experience with companies like Pfizer, Alticor, Herman Miller, Foremost, BDO Seidman and various other independent sales distributors will be used at MarketNet to define customer needs, identify processes and reports that can be automated, develop acceptance test plans, and manage daily projects.
Craig Carrier brings over 6 years of experience in development and system administration to MarketNet. Most recently, Craig worked for Tek Systems where he held titles such as supply chain team technical analyst, data conversion team Lead, and system analyst. His projects included conversion of legacy CRM and ERP solutions to newer, web-based platforms. He has experience working in Windows as well as Linux/Unix operating systems and C# .NET, ASP .NET, ASP and numerous other languages. Database tools include MS SQL, IBM DB2, Oracle and Sybase and specific ERP system experience includes Peoplesoft, Indus Asset Suite and Passport.
After three years in MarketNet’s customer service department, Mike Earley has been promoted to Market Analyst. Mike has a unique understanding of client needs from his experience on the front line. This experience, coupled with a strong understanding of database marketing, return on investment metrics and statistical analysis, makes him the perfect candidate for this position.
“We’re thrilled with the continued growth of MarketNet, which enables hiring and creates high tech jobs in West Michigan,” said J.T. McDonald, owner and President of MarketNet. “As we continue to develop our system modules and transfer to a complete .Net platform, we generate more opportunities for growth in 2007.
